Callum & Rachel's Wedding

A Grand Welcome

The first thing guests saw on arrival was a 1000mm x 600mm Welcome Banner, created from 5mm Perspex Opal. This glossy, light-diffusing acrylic set the tone instantly: modern and refined, yet full of warmth. Using a CJV printer and cutter, I vinylled the banner with a clean, timeless design. To elevate it further, I added laser-cut 3mm gold acrylic names, backed with 3M tape for a raised 3D effect — the perfect personalised touch that caught the light and attention.

Stylish Seating Plan

Matching the welcome sign in size, materials, and aesthetic, the Seating Plan followed the same format. This cohesive design not only guided guests to their seats but served as a statement piece at the reception. Again, vinyl using the CJV printer/cutter, and brought to life with the laser-cut gold acrylic for names, this pairing created an eye-catching and elegant entrance to the wedding breakfast.

Minimal Table Name Plaques

For each table, I created A6-sized name plaques using the same 5mm Perspex Opal. These were printed directly on our Mimaki UV Flatbed Printer, allowing for precise, durable and visually striking prints. The UV ink’s crisp finish and the subtle glow of the Perspex made each plaque stand out beautifully in the ambient lighting.

Menu Cards & Church Order of Service

No detail was overlooked. The menu cards were printed on 250gsm White Silkweave Linen Textured Matt Card, offering a tactile experience that paired perfectly with the tableware. Sized at 100mm x 210mm, these cards were slim, stylish, and easy for guests to hold and read.

I also used the same premium material for the Church Order of Service — a thoughtfully designed 5-page piece featuring hymns, readings, special thank-yous, and poems. These booklets served both a functional and sentimental purpose, giving guests a keepsake they could take home.

The Final Touch

This project was a real joy to work on — combining vinyl, UV print, laser cutting, and premium card stock to create a cohesive, high-end wedding suite. It’s always a pleasure to see design meet craft in a way that enhances the emotion and importance of a couple’s big day.
