Bringing Australia to Life Through Maps

Recently, I had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with Welcome to Travel, an Australian company that specialises in curating unforgettable experiences for travelers exploring this stunning continent. My task was to design a series of maps that would not only guide travelers through Australia’s most iconic locations but also immerse them in the adventure before they even set foot on the tour.

Dynamic Maps for Iconic Locations

Each map I created highlighted different locations around Australia, from the sun-kissed beaches of the Gold Coast to the rugged landscapes of the Outback. These maps were far from ordinary—they featured a blend of still images and dynamic, moving graphics. The goal was to bring the vibrant energy of each destination to life, making the maps a visual journey in themselves.

Enhancing Brochures with Immersive Design

Incorporating these maps into the tour brochures, which I also had the pleasure of designing, added an extra layer of engagement. The brochures became more than just a source of information; they became an invitation to explore, with the maps serving as a visual teaser of the adventures that awaited.

A Passion Project in Travel and Design

Working on this project was a fantastic experience. It allowed me to combine my passion for design with my love for travel, and I’m thrilled that these maps will inspire others to embark on their own Australian adventures with Welcome to Travel.
